Five years ago the age of a father was twice the age of his son. The sum of their present ages is 70 years. Then their present ages are ___ respectively.

hello here is your answer

so 5 yrs ago age of son be x

father's age=2x

so present age = x+5+2x+5=70

3x+10=70

3x=70-10

3x=60

x=60/3

x=30

son's age=30yrs

father age=60 yrs.
