five years from ,now minis father will be double her age..

or

x-5= 2(y-5)

x-2y= -5. ...(1).

and .

after five year

x+5= 3(y+5)

x - 3y =10. ...(2)

we get..

y=-15

and

x= -25. by(1).

but age is not negative...

so -ve sign neglected here..

father =25 year .

minis = 15 year .

Her father's present age be =Y

After five years both will be

2(x+5)=(y+5) equation 1

Five years Before

3(X-5) = (Y-5) equation 2

Substituting the value of both the equation u will get

2X + 10 = Y + 5 ..........1

3X - 15 = Y - 5 ..........2

Subtracting (2) from (1) You will get.

X=15

Y=35
