First anylaze the given data,

Let the sum of two son's be “y” years.

Then father's age will be 3y,

After 5 years,

(y+5)=(3y+5),

But it is given that,

2 (y+5)=(3y+5),

2y +10=3y+5,

3y-2y=10+5,

y=15.

Hence,the father age is 15.

Then his son's age will be 2½ & 2½.
