dark-coloured sheet of paper between the mirror and the
comb. Keep this in sunlight or send a beam of light from a
torch through the comb. What do you observe?

We observe the “Refection of light”. The ray of light approaches the smooth polished surface of the mirror and the light ray bounces back and gives a pattern similar to that on the black sheet.
