Flash and thunder are produced simultaneously. But thunder is heard a few

seconds after the flash is seen. Why?

Because from the source they are produced at same time but as sound(thunder) travels slower than light(flash) it creates delay

Speed of sound is much less than the speed of light, so light reaches the eyes of observation in very less time while sound takes a few seconds to reach our ears.
