flash and thunder are produced simultaneously. But thunder is heard a few seconds after the flash is seen. explain.

Because light travels faster than sound so we see thunder and afterwards we hear the sound But some people also say that eyes are front of the face and ears are behind of the eyes so we see the lightning first.
