to Flemming's left hand rule, stretch forefinger, middle finger and thumb of left hand in such way that they are mutually perpendicular to each other.If forefinger indicates the direction of magnetic field and middle finger indicates the direction of current,then the thumb gives the direction of motion or the force acting on the conductor.
