While Assam and Manipur in north-east received floods for the third time during this year; rains in the north, Himalayan region especially Nepal have resulted in flooding across Bihar,Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and sporadic and intense rains continue across the region increasing risk of floods spreading in more areas.
