Dimensions of room are 6 x 4 x 3.5 metres...

Therefore Area of four walls = 2h(l+b).

= 2 x 3.5 ( 6+4)

= 7 (10)

= 70 m^2...

Area of ceiling = l x b

= 6 x 4 m^2

= 24 m^2...

Cost of whitewashing = (Area of 4 walls+ Area of ceiling) x Cost of whitewashing

As 1dm = 0.1 m

Therefore Rate of whitewashing = 2.5 Rupees per metre

= (70+24) x 2.5

= (94) x 2.5

=235 Rupees...

If there is some mistake in the answer then I am sorry...
