Length of the floor = 10 m
Breadth of the floor = 4 m
Area of the room = l × b
= 1000 × 400
= 400000 m²
Length of the tile = 50 cm
Breadth of the tile = 10 cm
Area of the tile = l × b
= 50 × 10
= 500 cm².
Tiles to cove the floor = 400000/500
= 800 tiles.
