Area of rectangular lawn = 12x10 =120 sq.m

Area of the square tiles =(0.25)^2 sq.m = 0.625 sq.m

Tiles needed= 120÷0.625 = 192

Now,

1 tiles costs 8 rs

192 tiles costs 8x192= 1536 rs

convert 12 m and 8 m into cm

12m = 1200cm 8m = 800cm

25cm square tile has all sides equal

we will require 48 tiles across

and 32 tiles for width

48 *32 = 1536 tiles

1536 * 8 = 12288 rupees are needed
