Area of tile = 25cm^2

Area of rectangular lawn = Length = 20m ,Width = 10m

cost ₹ 8 per tile

No. of tiles = ?

Area of tile in m = 0.25 m

Now,

Area of lawn = l×b

= 20 × 10

= 200 m^2

No. of tiles = Area of Lawn / Area of Tile

= 200 / 0.25

= 20000 / 25

( if remove the decimal point from 0.25 )

= 800

So, no. of tiles is 800

Cost is ₹8 per tile

Cost of 800 tile = 800 × 8

= ₹6400
