The tropical vegetation includes 160,000 species of plants like the mosses, coral trees, sacred figs, banyans, palm trees, coconut, rose, neem, fruit trees like apple, oranges, mango, peaches, etc. The fauna of the torrid zone consists of various herbivorous, carnivorous and omnivorous wildlife like elephants, giraffes, lion, tiger, cheetah, bear, frogs, various poisonous snakes, chameleon, crocodile, birds like peacock, eagle, etc. to name a few.
