• Panchayati raj system is the local self government in India created in 1922 by the 73rd  constitutional amendment .
• Panchayati raj system consists of three levels namely,  Gram panchayat, Block level and District level

• The chief of administration is an officer of the IAS cadre and chief officer of the Panchayat raj for the district level.
