In a right circular cylinder, let the raidus of the circular base be r unit and height be h unit. Then,
1) Volume of the cyliner = Area of the circular base × height = (πr² × h) cubic units [Take π = 22/7]
2) Curved or lateral surface area of the cylinder = Circumference of the circular base × height = (2πr × h) square units [Take π = 22/7]
3) Total or whole surface area of the cylinder = Area of two circular ends + Curved surface area = (πr²+πr²+2πrh) square units [Take π = 22/7]
