Hey Guys,

Flowing water is used for generating hydroelectricity by using dams .

Water is reserved in reservoir with potential energy after that the gate of intake is open the water moves with kinetic energy this energy helps to move turbine and generates mechanical energy in the generator and the generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.

Hence , Electrical energy is supplied to the power stations .
