Fluid mosaic model proposed by singer and nicolson replaced sandwich model propesd by danielli and davson why?

because singer and nicolson gave the proper description about the plasma membrane and danielli and dawson gave less information! also the way in which singer and nicolson presented it matches with what others saw in the microscope!
