HI is more acidic than HF even though fluorine is more electronegative than iodine because iodine is bigger in size than fluorine hence iodine forms weaker bond with Hydrogen. Whereas fluorine form stronger bond with hydrogen due to it’s smaller size. Weaker bond can breaks easily and release proton

Electronegativity means tendency to attract electron..

Fluorine is more electronegative than iodine because atom size of F is less than I so the tendency to attract electron increases.
