Flying with the wind a plane went 183 km/h. Flying into the same wind the plane only went 141 km/h. How do you find the speed of the plane in still air and the speed of the wind?

let speed without air be 183-x

and that is equal to 141+x

2x is equal to 42

therefore speeed of wind is 21kmph

speed of plane 141 plus 21 OR 183-21

is equal to 162 kmph
