7x - 15y = 2........(1)

x + 2y = 3..........(2)

let us eliminate term containing x. for this we will multiply equation (2) by 7

7x + 14y = 21

7x - 15y = 2

y = 19/29

now, we can put this value of y in either of equation to get value of x OR we can find value of x by eliminating terms containing y from (1) and (2)

let us try elimination

we will multiply eqn(1) by 2 and eqn(2) by 15

15x + 30y = 45

14x - 30y =. 4

29x =. 49

x = 49/29
