Focal length of a convex mirror is 12cm. Find the nature, position and size of image if
an object is placed at a distance of 6cm from the mirror​

u=-6cm

f=12cm

1/f=1/v+1/u

1/12=1/v-1/6

1/v=1/6+1/12

1/v=3/12=1/4

v=4cm

image is formed 4cm beyond the mirror

since the mirror used is convex image is erect and virtual

height of image/height of object=-v/u

H'/H=-4/-6=2/3

H'=2/3H
