Answer: u= -10 , v= 20

Explanation:

f =20 , m =-2

m= -v/u

-2=-v/u

v=2u ------------1

1/f =1/v+1/u

1/20 =1/2u +1/u

Let 1/u =x for the easy calculation.

1/20 =1/2u + x

1/20 =-x/2

-20x=2

x =1/-10 =1/u

u= -10

Put the value of u in eq. 1

v=2×-10

v =-20
