Solution :

Given:

The focal length of the convex mirror is 20 cm. Am object is placed 60 cm infront of the mirror.

We know that:

\implies \huge{\boxed{\sf{ \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{v}  +  \frac{1}{u}}}}

By substituting the values:

\implies \sf{ \frac{1}{20}   =   \frac{1}{v}   -  \frac{1}{60}}

\implies \sf{ \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{1}{20}  +  \frac{1}{60}}

\implies \sf{\frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{60 + 20}{20 \times 60}}

\implies \sf{\frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{80}{1200}}

\implies \sf{ \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{1}{15}}

\implies \sf{v = 15 \: cm}

Therefore: v = 15 cm
