Area of a Segment in Radians A = (½) × r2 (θ – Sin θ)

Area of a Segment in Degrees A = (½) × r 2 × [(π/180) θ – sin θ

Area of sector= a/360°×π(r^2)h

For the major sector you can put the same formula but just change a to 360°-a

i.e., (360°-a)/360° × π(r^2) h

For area of segment subtract the area of triangle from the area of sector.

i.e., [a/360° × π (r^2)h]- area of triangle
