To Find :  mean, mode and median of this data,​

Solution:

5, 3, 4, 1, 6, 2, 2, 4, 3, 2, 1, 5, 1, 6, 2

arranging data in order

1  1  1  2  2  2 2 3  3 4 4 5 5 6 6

there are total 15 datas hence 8th data will be median

Hence 3 is the MEDIAN

2 has maximum frequency as 4

so 2 is the MODE

Mean = (1 + 1 + 1 +2 + 2 + 2 + 2+ 3 + 3 +4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6)/15

= 47/15

= 3.13

Mean is 3.13

Mean:

​Mean = 47/15 = 3.13

Median:

The middle number in the above data is median

The 8th term is middle number = 3

Mode:

The number 2 occurs most of the times, 2 occurs 4 times. so, mode is 2
