Following are the observation of throwing a dice 15 times

Mean= \frac{Sum\: of\: the \: observations}{Number\: of\: the\: observations}

Sum of the Observations = 5 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 6 + 2

= 47

Number of the Observations = 15

Mean = \frac{47}{15}

Mode = Frequently repeated number in the series.

i.e

2 is the Mode because it repeated four times

Median = middle term of the series when series are in Ascending order.

Arranging series in Ascending order :-

1 , 1 , 1 , 2 , 2 , 2 , 2 , 3 , 3 , 4 , 4 , 5 , 5 , 6 , 6.

Middle term = Median = 3

Solution :

Arranging all data in order

Now , there are total 15 datas

Hence, 8th data will be median

Hence, 3 is the median

2 has maximum frequency as 4

So , 2 is the MODE

Mean = (1+ 1+1+2 + 2 + 2 + 2+ 3+3 +4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6)/15

= 47/15

= 3.13
