The mean weight is sum of all weights divided by no. of weights
48.5+ 50+ 44.5+ 49.5+ 50.5+ 45+ 51+ 43 / 8= 47.6
If a student of 55 kg is added then
48.5+ 50+ 44.5+ 49.5+ 50.5+ 45+ 51+ 43+ 55/ 9=
