Energy possessed by an object due to virtue of it's motion is known as Kinetic Energy.

As the two car's are moving with a speed of 100 km/hr and 120 km/hr. Means cars are moving (results in motion of car). So, the energy shown by both the cars is Kinetic energy.

Now,

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mv²

With increase in mass, kinetic energy increase and with increase in speed, kinetic energy also increase. As, both mass and speed are directly proportional to kinetic energy.

(Note: If speed is increased two times then the kinetic energy increase four times.

More the speed, more will be the kinetic energy. Therefore, the car B having speed 120 km/hr have more Kinetic Energy.
