So,

→ Perimeter ∆ABC = 8 * 2 = 16 cm

then,

→ Perimeter ∆ABC = AB + BC + AC

→ AB + BC + AC = 16

→ x + 4 + x = 16

→ 2x + 4 = 16

→ 2x = 16 - 4

→ 2x = 12

→ x = 6 cm .

therefore, length of AB is equal to 6 cm .
