Given :  polynomial p(x) = (x+5)(x-2)

To Find :  zero of the polynomial p(x)

Solution:

zero of the polynomial p(x) are the values of x foe which p(x) become zero

p(x) = 0

=>  (x+5)(x-2) = 0

=> x+5  = 0   or  x - 2 = 0

x+5  = 0

=> x = - 5

x - 2 = 0

=>  x = 2

Hence  - 5 & 2 are zeroes of the polynomial p(x) = (x+5)(x-2)

from the given options -5 is correct answer.
