In the atmosphere, water is constantly circulating. Evaporation occurs at the Earth's surface and begins to rise into the environment on warm updrafts. This time period is critical for heat and energy transfer from the Earth's atmosphere to the earth and transmitted from one location to another on our world.

Furthermore, evaporation is the most significant source of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Heat radiated from the Earth's surface is absorbed by water vapor particles in the lower atmosphere. Water vapor molecules radiate heat in all orientations. Some of the radiation is directed back to the surface of the Earth.
