Find a Quadratic polynomial the sun and the product of whose zeroes are zero and √2 and - 3/2.
x^2 = (α+β)x + (αβ)
put the values
α+β = √2
αβ = -3/2
p(x) = x^2 - (√2)x + (-3/2) =0
x^2 -√2x - 3/2 = 0
Multiply both side by 2..
2* x^2 - 2*2√2 - 2 * (-3/2) =0
we get,
2x^2 - 2√2x -3 =0
Your required polynomial
2x^2 - 2√2 - 3 =0
