Food processing industries are not much developed and developing countries because -

• Lack of financial strength :

Any kind of industrial establishment or development (including the food processing industries),needs a huge amount of money at the initial stage. But, in the developing countries ,the investors do not come up that easily due to the fear of market risks.

• Lack of technology :

In most of the developing countries, the food processing industries are mainly based on the manual process due to the lack of the automatic modern technologies. This absence of technology, makes these countries weaker in terms of industrial strength.

• Lack of government enthusiasm :

The government systems of the developing countries are often busy with different problems in the country and that's why they are not able to thoroughly inspect all the available industries. In this way, many industries, including the food processing industries, fall behind in the market race.
