As you know how India greatly dependent on agriculture. It is the basic work that can a person do if had nothing to  work. a small farmer can practice agriculture for its own use. And a landowner produce large amount of grains and things foe its profit. Only forestry and fishing contribute 13.7 % of GDP on the basis of 2013 data.In spite of economic development  and industrialization agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy . Nearly two thirds of population depend directly on agriculture. Agriculture contributed 26 percent in GDP share.
