Food sometimes enters the wind pipe ad causes choking

Yes food sometimes made us choking hazards this is due to when food goes to our wind pipe although there is a seal epiglottis which closes when food enters to food pipe it closes the windpipe . that's why it is recommended not to speak when eating chocking can happen otherwise

His is due to a flap like structure epiglottis
Whenever we speak or laugh while eating we may get this problem
Due to partial function of epiglottis good might enter into our windpipe
This happens in rare cases and water or sometimes good expel out from nose too....

This is all due to EPIGLOTTIS
