a group of food chain is called food web.

grass->Deer->Tiger this is an example of food chain.....if there is no grass....there won't be deer....so Tiger won't get its food...also u would think if there is no Tiger...then it will be good for the deers life...BUT NO without Tigers there won't be deers too....Why? because Tiger controls the population of deers ....without a predator deers would multiple and their food source becomes limited...this would ultimately result in death of deers due to less available food resources....

SO EVERYTHING IN NATURE IS INTERCONNECTED
