Hi ,

Compare √2x² - 5x + √2 = 0 with

ax² + bx + c = 0 , we get

a = √2 , b = -5 , c = √2

discreaminant ( D ) = b² - 4ac

D = ( -5 )² - 4 × √2 × √2

D = 25 - 4 × 2

D = 25 - 8

D = 17

Option ( B ) is correct.
