Hi there!

4x + 3 < 5x + 7

⇒ 4x + 3 - 7 < 5x + 7 - 7

⇒ 4x - 4 < 5x

⇒ 4x - 4 - 4x < 5x - 4x

⇒ - 4 < x

Thus,
All real numbers 'x' , which are greater than -4 , are solutions of the given Inequality.

Hence,
Solution set of given Inequality is (- 4, ∞)

Hope it helps! :)

x : 4x + 3 < 5x + 7

4x + 3 < 5x + 7

4x - 5x < 7 - 3

-x < 4

since X is negative, we multiply both sides by -1 and change the signs.

-1 × ( -x ) > ( -1 ) × 4

X > -4

since X is a real number greater than -4

thus X € ( -4, ∞ )

hope you understand ...

but remember that this question is not for 50 pts.

it is 50 - 1 pts.

but anyways, I have only help you ....
