I went through the editorial of your Newspaper on some of the reasons why plastic bags should be banned and I think it becomes necessary and therefore, I will like to also suggest some reasons why plastic bags should be banned completely.
The production of plastic bags is very dangerous to our health because harmful chemicals are mixed in their production processes.
These chemicals are so dangerous that it could also affect animals that reside both on land and in water, in other words, it can affect aquatic and terrestrial animals.
It is important to also know that most people
that have plastic bags in their possession
don't dispose of them properly and ends up
as litters in our environment, particularly in
the raining season.
If we put all these demerits into consideration, I think it will better for the government to ban the use of plastic bags before it becomes a problem that could be very difficult to control.
