Given :-

For a body travelling with uniform acceleration, its final velocity is V = √180 – 7x, where x is distance travelled by a body.

To find :-

Acceleration of the body

Solution :-

v => velocity

t => time

a => acceleration

x => distance

a \: => dv/dt

dv/dt = dv/dx ÷ dt/dx = dx/dt × dv/dx

dx/dt = v

  • Therefore,

dv/dt = v. dv/dx

dv/dx 21 of √(180 – 7x) =  -7 × {1/2 √(180 – 7x)}

dv/dt = √(180 – 7x) × (3.5/(√(180 – 7x))

=> 3.5
