This question is testing the concept of differentiation :

Given v= velocity,

t = time,

a = acceleration

x = Distance

a = dv / dt

dv / dt = dv / dx ÷ dt /dx = dx / dt × dv / dx

dx / dt = v

Therefore :

dv / dt = v. dv / dx

dv / dx of √(180 - 7x) = - 7×{ 1/ 2√(180 - 7x)}

dv / dt = √(180 - 7x) × ( - 3.5 /(√(180 - 7x))

Thus equals to : - 3.5

Answer: - 3.5
