for a finitie AP the first term is 17 and the last term is 350. if the comman difference is 9 , find the number of terma in the AP and also find their sums.

so a=17.

common difference=d=9.

last term is 350.

We know nth term is a+(n-1)d

So:

350=a+(n-1)d

=350=17+9(n-1)

=9(n-1)=333

=n-1=333/9

=n-1=37

n=37+1=38

The number of terms is 38.
