Consider, a ball is falling from a height it experiences gravitational force which pulls it down. the ball will also experince air drag which will affect the gravitational force a little. since the gravitational force is greater it will continue to move towards the surface.

 Then the ball  hits the surface the energy  posssesed by the body will dissipate into  sound energy then the sound energy will be received by us and convert into nerve impulses which is in turn electrical energy and we will act however we want after hearing that. this is how energy continues throughout ever and ever until a new scientific fact is found
