Potential difference (v) = 220 volt

We know that ,

The electric power (P) is defined as the product of potential difference (v) and current (I)

Thus ,

4 × (10)³ = 220 × I

I = 4 × (10)³/220

I = 4 × (10)²/22

I = 0.18 × (10)²

I = 18 amp (approx)

Hence , the current is 18 amp
