For a motion in 1 Dimension it is given, S=4t3−2t2+1

Where, S = displacement, t = time

Calculate the

(i) Velocity when t=5 sec

(ii) Average velocity for 0 s to 5 s

(iii) Acceleration when t = 4 sec

(iv) Average acceleration for (1 s to 4 s)

(v) Find the time when body changes its direction

Body starts from rest and displacement is zero when the body starts

Answer:

i)380m/s

ii)190m/s

iii)92m/s^2

iv)56m/s^2

here by differentiating s we get velocity= 12t^2-4t further differentiation we get acceleration=24t-4
