Given :

  • For A.P. a= 5 and d = 7

To find :

  • 11th term i.e t11

Formula used :

tn = a + (n - 1)d

Where :

  • a = first term

  • n = number of terms

  • d = common difference

  • tn = nth term

Solution :

To find 11th term i.e t11 we will use the following formula :-

tn = a + (n - 1)d

Put :-

  • a = 5

  • n = 11

  • d = 7

  • tn = t11

 \implies \: t11 = 5+ (11 - 1)7

\implies \: t11 = 5+(10 \times 7)

\implies \: t11 = 5+70

\implies \: t11 = 75

Answer :

11th term or t11 = 75

1. Tn = a+(n-1)d

2. Sn = n/2[2a+(n-1)d]

3. Sn = n/2(a+l)

Where :-

  • a = first term
  • n = number of terms

  • d = common difference

  • tn = nth term
