Given :  a particular frequency distribution table , the class size is 25 and the first class interval (continuous) is 200-225

To find : a. Write the third class interval.

b. Write the class mark of the fourth class interval.

c. Write the difference between the upper limit of the second class interval and lower limit of the fourth class interval

Solution:

1.          200-225

2.         225-250

3.          250-275

4.          275-300

5.          300-325

the third class interval.  -  250-275

class mark of the fourth class interval.   (275+300)/2 = 287.5

the difference between the upper limit of the second class interval and lower limit of the fourth class interval

upper limit of the second class interval = 250

lower limit of the fourth class interval = 275

275 - 250  = 25
