For a PT drill 6500 students have to be arranged in such a way that the number of rows and number of students in one row are same. After arranging, it was found out that some of them are left out. How many students were left out?

Answer:

100 students. Please mark me brainliest.

Step-by-step explanation:

For rows = no. of students in each row, total students = rows^2

Since students were left out, 6500 is not a proper square.

So, we will find nearest square

Since

8^2 = 64\\80^2 = 6400

81^2 = 6561>6500

So, we will take 80. So there were 80 rows and 80 students in each row. Since this can fit 6400 students only, 6500 - 6400 = 100 students were left out.
