For a reaction A  \rightarrow B + C, it was found that at the end of 10 min from the start ,total optical rotation of the system was 50° and when the reaction was complete,it was 100° .Assuming that Band C are optically active and dextrorotary .Calculate the rate constant of this first order reaction.​

The activation energy for a simple chemical reaction A \rightarrow B is E_a in forward direction. The activation energy for reverse reaction

(a) is always double of E_a

(b) is negative of E_a

(c) is always less than E_a
