For a running competition there is a special arrangement made for two teams. One team runs from A to B and then from B to C and returns to the starting point A . while the other team start from C and via D to B and then B to the point C again . In AB is parallel to CD and angle A is equal to angle D =90⁰,then the length of the travel sone by the teams are equal . Also explain your answer. ​

ab||cd

angle A= D= 90°

cd is the common side

so,∆abc=~∆cbd

2.thus,ac= bd and angle abc and bcd are equal( alternate angles)

3.thus,the both distances are equal.
